About Me
Hey there, welcome to Wild Wellness Tips 🌿
I'm Ava Reed — the person behind the keyboard, the recipes, the questionable workout playlists, and (hopefully) the advice that actually makes your day a little healthier.
I'm not a doctor, a certified trainer, or a nutritionist with letters after my name. What I am is someone who got genuinely obsessed with figuring out how to feel better — more energy, better sleep, a calmer mind, a body that doesn't ache by 3pm — and decided to turn that obsession into something useful for other people too.
How this all started
Like a lot of people, my wellness journey didn't begin with a six-pack or a strict meal plan. It started with [a specific moment — feeling burnt out, a health scare, hitting a rut, wanting more energy for your kids, etc.]. I remember thinking there had to be a simpler way to feel good in my own body without needing a nutrition degree or three hours a day at the gym.
So I started reading. Researching. Testing things on myself. Falling down rabbit holes about sleep cycles, gut health, mobility work, and the psychology of habits — and slowly building a toolkit of things that actually worked, minus the extremes and the fads.
Wild Wellness Tips is that toolkit, shared.
What you'll find here
This site is about whole-life wellness — not just workouts, not just diets, but the full messy, wonderful picture:
Movement that fits into a real schedule, not a fantasy one
Food that fuels you without turning meals into math homework
Mind & mood, because stress and sleep matter just as much as squats
Small, sustainable habits over extreme overnight transformations
I dig through the research, cut out the jargon, and share what's actually worth your time — the stuff that's realistic for people who also have jobs, families, laundry piles, and lives.
My approach
I believe wellness shouldn't feel like a punishment or a second job. It should feel like coming home to yourself. So everything here is filtered through a few simple questions: Is this realistic? Is this backed by decent evidence? Would I actually recommend this to a friend?
If the answer isn't yes to all three, it doesn't make the cut.
(Quick honesty note: I'm an enthusiast and researcher, not a licensed health professional. Everything here is meant to inform and inspire — always check with your doctor before making major changes to your health, fitness, or diet.)
A little more about me
When I'm not writing about wellness, you'll probably find me [hiking / trying a new recipe that half-works / falling asleep during a meditation app / chasing my dog around the yard — swap in your real life here]. I'm based in [location], I drink way too much [coffee/tea], and I firmly believe that progress beats perfection every single time.
Let's do this together
Wellness isn't a destination — it's a hundred small choices, repeated. I'm so glad you're here to figure it out alongside me.
